Precautions to take when visiting our salon post-COVID-19

If you have an upcoming appointment at our Didcot hairdressers, we look forward to welcoming you back through our doors!

Due to the current COVID situation, we have made a few changes to the running of our beauty salon, ensuring we maintain the best level of health and safety for our clients and staff, which is currently our highest priority.

We have, of course, implemented a regimented cleaning process, making sure that everything is disinfected thoroughly between clients.

We understand that many clients may still be feeling nervous ahead of their post-COVID appointment with us, so here we have compiled a list of a few things to expect when visiting our Didcot beauty salon for the first time after reopening.

Please allow a little longer for cleaning

Our hairdressers are trying their best to provide their appointments on time, but with more thorough disinfection taking place before and after each client, it is naturally going to slow things down.

We kindly ask that you allow a window of 30-minutes either side of your expected appointment time to allow for cleaning to take place – after all, we are doing this to ensure that all of our clients and staff are in safe conditions.

Please use hand sanitiser before entering the salon

All staff, clients and anyone entering our Didcot beauty salon will be asked to use the hand sanitising station prior to stepping into the building.

Along with temperature checks on entering the salon, this will help reduce the chance of the virus entering the building and passing on to our staff and clients.

Please be aware that if your temperature exceeds 37.8 degrees on arrival, this may indicate a COVID fever and you will be refused entry to the salon. 

Please wear a mask

We ask that during your hairdressers’ appointment at our Didcot beauty salon that you wear a facemask at all times. Our staff will be wearing the full appropriate PPE and would appreciate it if our clients join us on reducing the likelihood of any potential spreading of the virus.

If you feel ill on the day of your appointment or have a temperature, please call to rearrange.

Bring minimal belongings with you

During the current climate, we ask that all clients coming to our Didcot beauty salon bring as little personal belongings with them as possible. This is to reduce the risk of the virus entering the salon via bags, coats, umbrellas etc.

This may be inconvenient, but our highest priority is maintaining the safety of our clients and our staff, and this is a necessary step to ensure we do so.
